What is the FXs essentials Pack ?

This pack is an Ableton Live audio effects pack that have all been simplified into multiple macros that represents, for me, all the parameters of each effect that you could frequently need or that could maybe help you find new sounds or effects that you may like.

It doesn’t require any plugins out of Ableton Live default plugins, first of all so that it can benefit to most of you ;) , but also to minimize the resources that the software will use from your CPU.

Why would I use macros ?

Those can be very useful in many different ways, regardless the way you use Ableton Live or the genre you produce or record.

With time, and by identifying the effects you like, you will, not only, be able to fasten your workflow with the accessibility of the different parameters, but also to save presets of the different effects or racks that are present in the pack to access those quickly when you’ll need them later.

Also if that’s something you’re thinking about working on, you can train yourself to use your ears more than your eyes, which helped me a lot with time and by practicing to identify some details that I could have missed in the past.

And you can also, like that’s the case in the pack, group multiple audio effects to make what’s called audio effects racks. Those offer more possibilities like being able to access more complex effects in seconds or to make a preset of a parallel processing chain you often use if you need to.
